Safety Tips for Visitors
-
In our country areas road
conditions can vary from bitumen to gravel
and dirt. Be careful of potholes, soft
road edges, narrow bridges and dusty roads.
Be careful of crossing a road covered
in water - cross slowly only if the road
surface is firm and stay in the middle
of the road.
- When overtaking please allow plenty of room
before you pass, some vehicles, like road
trains (large trucks) can sometimes be longer
than 10 cars.
-
DO NOT STOP in a lane
of traffic, ESPECIALLY on a bend, you
may be hit from behind.
- Always lock your car, never leave valuables
in plain view.
